Steve Ingram

Steve Ingram


Steve has over 15 years experience in Project Management, Project Controls and strategic planning gained with British Nuclear Group, ABB and Cooper Cameron.

Steve's initial experience was in oil and gas projects, with particular responsibility for sub-sea installation projects up £40M in value. Following a move to BNFL, he became extensively involved in development of decommissioning planning systems and their deployment on real projects.

Immediately prior to joining Venn, Steve was Head of the Programme Office at Berkeley Nuclear Licensed site, leading all project control functions and interfacing with the NDA to ensure Berkeley maintained full compliance with NDA procedures.


Nick Meek

Nick Meek


Nick has worked in the nuclear business for over 20 years, mainly for British Nuclear Group and its predecessors.

He was extensively involved the production of the first comprehensive decommissioning plans for Nuclear Electric's magnox, AGR and PWR power plant fleet and has continued to work in the field of decommissioning planning.

He has remained closely involved in the development and management of magnox power plant decommissioning strategy and played a key role in the preparation of BNFL's successful bid for the large component decommissioning of the Big Rock Point BWR. More recently he has worked on the BNG Innovation Project and the NDA business case for accelerated reactor dismantling.


Bob Swenson

Bob Swenson


Bob has over 15 years experience in the nuclear industry, starting with Nuclear Electric through Magnox Electric, BNFL Environmental Services and British Nuclear Group.

His work initially involved Project Management of modifications to contaminated plant systems on Magnox sites, but later become focused on decommissioning.

Bob has been Project Manager and Technical Manager for the preparation of detailed decommissioning plans, programmes and cost estimates for various gas-cooled, PWR and BWR nuclear power plant sites in the UK, Italy and Spain.


Jim Page

Jim Page


Jim has over 25 years project management and engineering experience gained in a variety of industries including Power, Electronics, Petrochemical and now 6 years in Nuclear Decommissioning, until recently with British Nuclear Group.

His career has seen him spend much of his time working on international projects for clients in Germany, USA, Norway, Switzerland and Angola, acting as Project Manager on many complex, high value projects.

More recently Jim has acted as the Project Manager for the production of a number of baseline decommissioning plans, including Oldbury Power Station's, and preparation of Near Term Work Plans and Lifetime Plans for the UK's magnox fleet.


Mike Dillon

Mike Dillon


Mike has 10 years of project management and project delivery experience. This was initially gained in the pyro-metalurgical industry, where Mike held overall responsibility for major infrastructure upgrades at a zinc-lead smelter, refinery and associated sulphuric acid pant. This major portfolio of work consisted of up to 50 projects at any one time ranging in value from £50k to £2.5M.


Since then Mike as been extensively involved in nuclear decommissioning planning projects and has lead site based project teams in the preparation of detailed decommissioning plans for a number of nuclear licensed sites.


Immediately prior to joining Venn, Mike was British Nuclear Group Project Services' Senior Project Manager for work at Wylfa nuclear power station.
